The cable’s specially formulated black jacket is designed to resist both temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F) and up to +60°C (+140°F). The level of UV blocking compounds is the same as in traditional Outside Plant (OSP) cable products, with the black color preventing damage from long-term UV sunlight exposure.
